Glitz and Glam 30th Birthday Party

The brief
We were asked to provide a Glitz and Glamour themed 30th Birthday Party with the main colour being pink. The suite was a typically corporate suite which would have to be transformed into a high-end party venue.
The solution
The first thing to change was the carpet in the venue, it was dark red with blue patterning and didn’t fit them theme of the party so we lay a neutral, champagne coloured carpet through the venue.
We built a 13m x 10m truss box at the end of the room, dressed with white truss socking, which allowed us to add table lighting and dancefloor lighting in lots of places and also allowed us to create a glitz and glamour backdrop. The backdrop consisted of varying sizes of gold balls and mirror balls which when lit filled the room with sparkles.
The main wow factor was provided by the dancefloor which was the only pink LED dancefloor in the UK. We also designed and made three window displays which were a 6ft high gold glittery stiletto, 6ft high pink glittery heart and 3 diamond filled martini glasses.
