The result

Spanning several years, we have helped to raise the profile and impact of this large and worthy charity awards dinner. With creative set designs we were able to accommodate the changing venues whilst always being true to the philosophy of the event and always improving its impact. We have produced a stylish environment for the dinner and a professional and slick awards ceremony and we have handled multiple AV and VT feeds to multiple screens, which mix seamlessly in between live award presentations by celebrities from television and sport.

The brief

We were asked to produce a blueprint for an event that would firmly position the Spirit of Fire Awards on the annual event calendar. The client was looking for a solution where we would provide full set, lighting, AV design, installation and operation and full stage management of the event. 

The solution

We provided several stylish stage sets that had large screens and high quality projection at their heart. This, along with large open stages, meant that the ever increasing number of guests would always have an unrivalled view of both the moving videos and – with the support of live camera feeds – of the award winners receiving their awards.  

 

Depending on the venue and space available, the stages either had concealed wheelchair access or integrated ramps.  Stylish lighting is always key to an awards evening and this was duly supplied with pin spotted tables, subtle ceiling washes, accent uplighting and clever logo and brand protections. 

 

We also created flexible and accessible backstage areas to accommodate the quick turnaround of celebrities and award recipients coming on and off stage. The whole show was skilfully managed by our very experienced stage manager, which meant that things ran seemlessly and on time.
